Humanism
Humanist thought: the person as center, reason as criterion, responsibility as horizon.
Humanism places the person — their dignity, reason, and responsibility — at the center of political order. This tradition, running from civic humanism of the Renaissance to contemporary humanisms (Maritain, Nussbaum, Sen), offers the ethical foundation on which liberal democracy and republicanism build their institutions. Revista Conciencia Democrática makes that humanist filiation explicit in its editorial program.
