Flavio Abbagnale

Student of Economics and Tourism at the Università degli Studi di Catania (Italy). He combines his academic training with an active participation in the European associative and student field. He currently serves as President and legal representative of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Catania, a non-profit organization integrated into the European ESN network, with headquarters in Brussels. In this role, she coordinates initiatives aimed at the integration, accompaniment and promotion of international student mobility, promoting activities, events and services for the Erasmus community in Catania. He has participated in various congresses and meetings related to European, environmental and international cooperation issues, developing a particular interest in the political and geopolitical challenges facing Europe in the 21st century. His areas of interest and research include European federalism, the role of European states in the contemporary geopolitical context, the power and influence dynamics of Western institutions, the political history of the West, and the historical evolution of European societies.
